SLSU-Bontoc Faculty tapped as judges for various art competitions organized by neighboring municipalities

To extend recognition and appreciation to art, SLSU-Bontoc Faculty joined the roster as esteemed judges to art competitions organized on various occasions: District-based 66th Ruperto K. Kangleon Commemoration Day celebrated by Bontoc National Highschool with SLSU-Bontoc Faculty Mr. Jimmy E. Salamida, Mr. Carlo M. Cabillo, and Mr. Jan Roel J. Montajes serving as judges to a mixed of visual (poster making), performing (jingle writing and singing) and literary (balak) competitions; and 15th Merryhills Academy of Sogod (MAS) Founding Day with Mr. Jan Roel J. Montajes serving as a judge to a Mass Dance competition.

As judges hailing from across different departments in SLSU-Bontoc and representing a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds, these events organized on February 20, 2024, and February 22, 2024, respectively, not only provide an opportunity for these judges to witness the unique blend of skills by budding performers but also, as a trusted authority with wit to provide constructive corrections for the improvement of the young performers.
