SLSU joins consultative meeting for public services collaboration
MAASIN CITY– To reach out for more collaboration of service to the public, the six campuses of Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) participated in a Knowledge Management Program and the establishment of Local Governance and Resource Center (LGRC) called “Preparatory Sectoral Consultations and Sub-regional LGRC Orientation.”
The activity was organized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Southern Leyte Provincial Office to establish an avenue for the government and private agencies to showcase their programs and services.
It aims to create opportunities for growth and development for local government units (LGUs) and to foster a strong partnership with both government and private agencies and sectors in the pursuit of the realization of Ambisyon Natin 2040, which represents the collective long-term vision and aspirations of the Filipino people for themselves and for the country— the kind of life that they want to live, and how the country will be, in 2040.
SLSU, along with other educational institutions in the province of Southern Leyte, is believed to help link the gap under different development issues and problems through its programs and services.
The activity took place on March 11, 2021, Thursday, in Maasin City, Southern Leyte.
